Justin Outling attended the University of North Carolina Greensboro, graduating with honors before going onto Duke University School of law. He went on the serve as a federal law clerk before practicing law in New York City where he won the Pro Bono Publica Award for his representation of domestic workers in human trafficking civil suit. He currently lives in Greensboro with his wife Cora and their children Clark and Cora and is a partner at Brooks, Pierce, McLendon, Humphrey & Leonard L.L.P., practicing business litigation. He is active in a variety of community organizations and is the Co-Chair of the UNCG Board of Visitors. He serves on the City Council and is running for Mayor.
