Amanda Farías is running for City Council to ensure The Bronx has the resources it needs. Born and raised in Soundview, she has empowered neighbors, served her community, and during the pandemic – built a mutual aid network that provided thousands of meals and resources to those most in need. Amanda has fought for more poll sites in our community, mentored the rising generation of leaders, built partnerships with local schools and labor unions to create career and technical education programs, helped pass women’s health bills, and advocated for more budgeting to alleviate food insecurity. Amanda Farías is running a grassroots campaign, of and for the people, that fights for the dignity of all Bronxites.
